L'OCCITANE do Brasil's story begins in the North of Brazil, in the state of Para, where abundant ingredients are harvested, and ends in the South, in the Sao Paolo region, where all our products are processed. Each product has gone through a rigorous certification process by the Brazilian government.

Natural Sun Protection

Organic buriti, or “tree of life” is a majestic palm tree, which produces a ECOCERT certified oil which contains the richest known source of the antioxidant beta-carotene. A natural SPF booster, it helps to protect skin against free radicals and premature aging. Buriti’s protective properties are enhanced by a new generation of micronized and micro-dispersed titanium-dioxide (ultra fine mineral pigments of natural origin that act as a protective barrier against harmful UV rays).

Natural Sunless Tanning

Organic Castanha, the “chestnut tree of Brazil,” produces highly nutritive nuts that contain half the protein of an egg. Rich in vitamins A, B, C, E and anti-oxidizing selenium, this Brazilian beauty oil promotes a healthy radiance, long-lasting hydration and leaves a soft, satiny finish on the skin. Our new sunless tanner contains only natural coloring and works by causing a safe, natural reaction with your skin (the product is free from any chemical dyes).

After Sun Regeneration

Organic Cupuaçu, an enormous fruit known as “Food of the Gods”, is capable of absorbing more than 4 times its volume of water. It is the ideal ingredient to intensely hydrate and restore natural moisture and elasticity to dry, damaged skin after sun exposure. In effect, it will instantly soothe sunburn and help prolong your tan. Cupuaçu restores your skin’s natural moisture and elasticity.
